As Presid\u00eancias da COP29 do Azerbaij\u00e3o e da COP30 do Brasil anunciaram nesta quarta-feira (5) um plano estrat\u00e9gico para mobilizar pelo menos US$ 1,3 trilh\u00e3o por ano em financiamento clim\u00e1tico para pa\u00edses em desenvolvimento at\u00e9 2035.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

Os presidentes Mukhtar Babayev e Andr\u00e9 Corr\u00eaa do Lago enfatizam que essa meta \u00e9 alcan\u00e7\u00e1vel, mas exigir\u00e1 esfor\u00e7os significativos tanto de fontes tradicionais quanto da cria\u00e7\u00e3o de mecanismos financeiros novos e inovadores.<\/p>\n

\n

\u201cPrecisamos agir, e o momento \u00e9 agora. Os compromissos clim\u00e1ticos para 2030 e 2035 nos oferecem uma oportunidade rara de transformar promessas em desenvolvimento real e sustent\u00e1vel, protegendo o planeta, gerando empregos, fortalecendo comunidades e garantindo prosperidade para todos\u201d, declarou Babayev.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

O Mapa do Caminho de Baku a Bel\u00e9m estabelece cinco \u00e1reas que ser\u00e3o prioridade:<\/strong><\/p>\n

  • Reabastecimento de subs\u00eddios, financiamento concessional e capital de baixo custo<\/li>\n
  • Reequil\u00edbrio do espa\u00e7o fiscal e da sustentabilidade da d\u00edvida<\/li>\n
  • Redirecionamento de financiamento privado transformador e redu\u00e7\u00e3o do custo de capital<\/li>\n
  • Reestrutura\u00e7\u00e3o da capacidade e da coordena\u00e7\u00e3o para portf\u00f3lios clim\u00e1ticos em escala<\/li>\n
  • Reformula\u00e7\u00e3o de sistemas e estruturas para fluxos de capital equitativos<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Em conjunto, esses esfor\u00e7os visam garantir que o financiamento clim\u00e1tico alcance pelo menos US$ 1,3 trilh\u00e3o por ano, ampliando o acesso para os pa\u00edses em desenvolvimento e fortalecendo os resultados em \u00e1reas como adapta\u00e7\u00e3o, perdas e danos, energia limpa, natureza, sistemas alimentares e transi\u00e7\u00f5es justas.<\/p>\n
