O presidente Luiz In\u00e1cio Lula da Silva publicou mensagem nas redes sociais de homenagem a Jards Macal\u00e9,\u00a0o ator, m\u00fasico e compositor morreu nesta segunda-feira (17), aos 82 anos.\u00a0<\/p>\n
“Jards Macal\u00e9 dizia que o amor \u00e9 um gesto pol\u00edtico. E que em tempos de \u00f3dio e intrigas como os que vivemos recentemente, pouca gente falava do amor, e por isso era t\u00e3o somente cant\u00e1-lo. Essa vis\u00e3o de mundo me aproximou de Jards: pol\u00edtica e amor devem andar juntos. N\u00e3o podem ser separados. Estive com Jards na luta pela redemocratiza\u00e7\u00e3o. Nos reencontramos v\u00e1rias vezes ao longo dos anos”, disse o presidente, lembrando que o artista participou de sua cerim\u00f4nia de posse em 2023.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n“Sempre defendeu a valoriza\u00e7\u00e3o da cultura e transformou seu talento e sua arte em uma luta constante contra o autoritarismo”, acrescentou o presidente.<\/p>\n

O cantor Caetano Veloso tamb\u00e9m prestou\u00a0homenagem ao parceiro musical, um dos respons\u00e1veis pelo \u00e1lbum Transa, de 1972.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n“Sem Macal\u00e9 n\u00e3o haveria ‘Transa’. Estou chorando porque ele morreu hoje. Foi meu primeiro amigo carioca da m\u00fasica. Antes de Beth\u00e2nia imaginar que seria chamada para o ‘Opini\u00e3o’, Alvaro Guimar\u00e3es, diretor teatral baiano, me trouxe ao Rio para montar e mixar o curta para o qual eu tinha feito a trilha. Fui parar na casa de Macal\u00e9. E ele tocou viol\u00e3o. Me encantei”, disse.<\/p>\n
